Kristen first noticed Brandon at church when he wrote her a note inviting her to a Christmas concert. The music was not her taste, ew country, and she was too shy! "Nope" was the answer! Brandon, being Brandon, continued to pursue her and look where they are now! 

After that heart-wrenching "nope" to his first potential "date" with his future wife, Brandon was not willing to give up. After continued persueing and many years of history (8 1/2 to be exact), he finally popped the question in the Bahamas on Tuesday August 30, 2015. Remember the scene on the titanic, the famous scene at the front of the ship? Well, that was the proposal! It was raining, windy, dark, and the couple was in formal attire when Brandon practically drug Kristen to the front of the ship. Kristen fought the entire way, of course, her hair was getting wet! After all, it was the best moment of their lives to this point.
